As far as I know you need 80% or above in attendance to pass the subject? If its a partial absence in the sense of you're missing a day then it would only count for the subjects you missed. If you're half way through and you're late, if the teacher has marked the role then you probably wouldn't be counted for your attendance to that subject that day.

Well i don't go to sport which is compulsory at our school :/ i've missed like 10 days of sport lol..
