What a miserable smiley hypocrite Abbott has been over this, suggesting that Thompson should not sit in or vote in the house unless and until his name is cleared. Essentially arguing in favour of denying an entire electorate access to legitimate democratic political power. What more where was the sanctimonious tosser when Michael Johnson was expelled from the LNP when under criminal investigations in 2010. He is totally inept and completely out of his depth, the only reason Kevin Rudd was not returned as leader of the Labor party in February inspite of the governments unpopularity is that whilst this worthless excuse for a leader continues to lead the coalition there is little cause for Labor to seriously doubt it's re-election. I thought his spas out in the infamous Mark Riley interview would be as low as it got but he just keeps plunging new depths.

Pardon? They did not win the last election, and are they not polling far lower now than they were when they failed to make government on their own?

There is absolutely no way Labor can win the election with Gillard as leader. With Rudd they would have a thinking chance at least.

Are you forgetting the violent scenes they provoked towards the Prime Minister and Opposition Leader on Australia Day (of all days!) earlier this year? It (illegal shanty) should have been moved on years ago.
