I'm planning on coming to Sydney next year to do one of these courses...
I want to teach English and French after school, so you'd think that'd mean I'd do b arts/b edu
BUT
I like the sound of B arts (languages), as you get to really specialise in your language as well as in other arts areas (ie english), and they give you 5000 bucks to do a foreign exchange which would increase my employability (it's good to have lived in france if you want to teach it i figure!) aside from being massively cool.
Is there anyway I can do the language degree but still come out qualified to teach English and French? Like can I take the compulsary education classes as part of my degree? Does that mean i'll be at uni for 6 years? (the language one is 4)
Thanks everyone!
