Firstly I know you can play tennis at the Fischer tennis courts, but do you need any membership to be able to play on it?

Secondly, does the gym between the physics and education building have badminton courts? Once again, do we need gym membership to use them or can anyone use it?

Anyone who knows anything about this please comment! :)

Ok so generally to access any SU Sport stuff you need to be a member of the SU Sports Union - $50 yearly membership (aprox). General information can be found here: http://www.susf.com.au/page/membership_explained.html

For access to tennis courts/squash courts and prices visit this link for info: http://www.susf.com.au/page/squash_and_tennis_courts.html

This is the link to the badminton club: http://www.usydbadminton.com/clubinfo.html They appear to play at HK Ward (although I have a suspicion this may almost be closed to do building works - check with the club).

There is also a tennis club: email address to be found here: http://www.susf.com.au/page/tennis.html

Hope that helps. I would suggest going and talking to the sports people at either Arena or the Sports and Aquatic centre - they know how everything works, should be able to help you with more specifics.

Go check. But to my knowledge all the sports fields etc are run by the the sports union - I'm pretty sure the gym you are talking about (the one with Ralph's in it) is the Arena gym and that is also run by the union. I'm not sure why they would have different rules to the other gym (and in that link it says you need annual membership to book). But easiest thing is just to ask.
