IMO get galaxy note 10.1 or google nexus 10. Battery life is around the same as an ipad.

IMO I'd try to avoid getting windows 8 due to how crap it actually is :S

You do realise the iPad gets 13-15 hours of IRL usage... stop looking at specs on paper...

Although I'd defs say apple is quite good with the battery department.

Touch screen on laptops? I think if you're looking for touch screen options, just get an android tablet.

Sure, tablets are easier to use and more practical - but personally I don't use laptops at uni and just do all my typing at home because the laptop is quite heavy. Tablets are lighter but there's typing issues and whether the typed up stuff will be useful...

I bought myself a Macbook air back in october. It has awesome battery life, is thin and light and is also quite powerful. The specs on paper do not do this laptop justice. Would recommend.

If you have Intel i7-3630QM 2.4Ghz, just like of clevo laptop, that would be perfect item you will have. Tablet cross on mind as well, it light and handy.
