Im not being stubborn, but u cant go about claiming uve proven me wrong, and the other Muslims in this forum, when u really havn't. We also believe that others in this forum are being stubborn, and we believe that we've proven them wrong, if u realise and backtrack all posts made in the past 2 weeks, u'd realise we've answered alot of questions, yet theyre continously being asked once again in different threads, or the same thread 5 pages later!

The only reason I dont agree with anything that condemns the Quran, is because u've failed to convince me that ur right!

If most of them were/are muslims, maybe ur being stubborn, did that ever occur to u?

Anyways, in regards to the article, It fails to provide verses, which would have givn it more credibility! But an interesting read!

mostly coming from veterandoggy , but you and other muslims , give ridiculous justifications and answers to the questions about islam. So ridiculous in fact that i cant help but dismiss them as crazy talk coming from a brainwashed theist.
just becuase yuo answred sometihng doesnt mean its in any way correct or dismissed the issue i raise.
and its so arragont to dismiss as suicide bombers not being influenced by the quran.

i think you are the most stubborn, becuase like hiphophooray said , i would change my view if i was proven wrong, but you never say yuor wrong, or ok maybe its true, you just refuse to beleive the truth , becuase you think uor religion is the best and notihng bad comes out of it.

i knew you would use that defense and that's why i included the 'if im proved wrong i change my view' line in my post :).
Same here, but that hasnt happened yet. Im open to people dicussing my religion, I dont mind it, I am open to hear people's opinions, and if their convincing enough I agree, if not, then I simply disagree!

Interestingly enough the final nail in the coffin of my Catholic beliefs was reading the does God exist thread on this forum. This is why I persist in these threads even though they seem to be going nowhere, that I might in turn enlighten someone else to my way of thinking.

see this what the forums are originally about ppl discussing other ppl's ideas and all not bagging other's ideas because they aren't what they believe.

sasha, when you talk about me, could you at least pm me and say that you've mentioned me in another post? i dont expect new threads to be opened, and i bookmark the ones im talking in, cos im lazy. its the second time you do it...

we dont dismiss suicide bombers being influenced by the quran, or i dont. we dismiss them following islam's true teachings

I wont say Im wrong if Im not, U havnt been able to convince me that I am wrong, so why should I say "Im wrong"?

Then again, neither do u! U believe ur right, and I believe Im right, out of all people u should understand me most!

In regards to the article that Last Chance posted, I wont comment on Palestine, as in my opinion, Palestine is a whole different issue in itself, I wont say that i condemn nor agree with the attacks, however, an important point was made, as many Christians do attack Islam about suicide bombings in Palestine, whereas in reality, christians do it too, after all, Palestinians arent all Muslims, and this is one point alot of people don't realise!

Please keep all discussion relevant to the article! SashatheMan, if u wish to reply to what I've said, do so, but after ur done, Resume all discussion to the thread topic and the article posted!

Thank u!

i wonder about the ppl who criticise the qurran and bible, have you guys actually read them?
or did you just hear verses being taken out ofcontext

Context doesn't only refer to the placement of the verse within the scripture. Context also refers to things like the time and place in which the verse was revealed.

There is a dedicated thread on this now - this one would just be repeating the other.
