powderfingers prob not gonna be there: theyre in the uk in december at least.

dream theater could be a possibility, they were meant to finally be doing some gigs in aus, would be a good way for them to get more exposure.

I heard on Triple J last week that the Kings of Leon are touring Australia in December/January, so I'm hoping they're a possibility.

oh dear lord.

oh and whilst im in this thread and in a pissed off mood, to the two wankers who posted at the top of this page, its not so simple as dividing types of people between types of music. if i hadnt been to big day out three years in a row and had the same problem every year regardless of my taste i wouldnt have made such a point about it in the first place. drunk bogans dont just listen to metal bands as far as i noticed, overdrinking seems to be a problem in a lot of people spanning across different genres of music
haha you called me a wanker

how bout you sit at home and watch the big day in on channel V then?

I talked to a guy from Inertia records, that's Ben Lee's label... apparently White Stripes are ruled out because of Meg being sick...they were a hot prospect, and Ben Lee can't play either, but the word in the industry is really really good:

Rage Against the Machine
UNKLE
Bjork
and Arcade Fire

Those are amongst the names you guys have been throwing around, so I guess those rumours must have some substance. Fuck yes!
