Well there needs to be numerous requests to make it standard... Hmm if I launch before I get my UAI it should be ready for the time when I get my UAI

I'm not officially encouraging anything... I'm simply making certain that students who have a true interest in knowing their raw marks are aware of the process that needs to be followed in order to get them. :)

You would want to request "raw examination marks (total weighted marks)" and "initial moderated assessment marks". Make sure you include any other relevant details, such as your student number.

One instance should be enough to stand as a precedent. Though it hasn't been tested yet.

And you can't ask for non-existent documents. :)

Unfortunately, a $30 does apply.

I'm sending in my application soon.

The fee is necessary to cover any incidental expenses incurred by the agency when fulfilling your request.

Yeah I know, so thats why I said launch one in December, but it would probably have to be after my UAI even though they will have them done before then.

I think this is a great discovery by Laz! It's particularly helpful to someone in my position, who is repeating year 12. Even though I managed an over-90 UAI last year, I would really like to achieve a higher mark, and knowing my raw marks would be great in allowing me to know where I need to go to get the highest possible marks.

Laz, if other people acquire their own raw marks, would they be of use to you in working out something like Lazseeker?

I would pay $100 just to see my raw 3U Maths exam mark LOL :D

I'd suspect it'd be around the vicinity of about 5/84 :D

I wouldn't have normally pointed this out... but you're doing Law at uni and you didn't know that you had to pay to recieve information under the FOI act?

I only did legal studies at school for 3 terms in yr11 and I knew that!

:)

Yes and no. I'd require far more data than the marks of individual students to actually improve UAI calculations; however, those marks could assist in other ways (such as providing information about raw band cut-offs).
