I just did Q15 and Q16 today. Had me scratching my head but after I understood what was being asked I got them out.

Care to show us your solutions? Marked nearly all of the MX2 papers. One or two left.

How is this soln to 16a

|z0+z1| + |z1| >, |z0|

|z0+z1+z2| + |z2| >, |z0 +z1| >, |z0|-|z1|

therefore |z0+z1+z2| >, |z0|-|z1|-|z2| then , |z0 +z1 +z2...Zn| + |Zn| >, |z0|-|z1|-|z2|...|Zn-1| therefore true

Q15 was quite easy except induction someone post soln up for that plz

Hey Carrot, how are you going with the solutions? I can post up short solutions to Q16b) and c) unless you want to.

All papers have been marked, and I am now releasing averages. They are in the first post of this thread.

Carrot, you should try and learn LaTeX. I believe the HSC paper is written in LaTeX as well (using a package that changes the default font to something that looks like Times New Roman - it isn't exactly that though, since that exact font is patented or something...)

The paper was originally going to be typed up using TeX. However, given the time constraints, I had to use Math Type instead.

Next year's one will be done purely using TeX.
