well thats good news, that what i put!It's acting with the motion. If it was acting against the motion, the wording would ordinarily call it a resistance force and the object would be decelerating. It was also kind of implied in the question that the force caused the object to accelerate in the positive direction and we now want to make it accelerate even more.
Question has now been reworded to make that clearer.
also, maybe a bit of a hard to answer question, but ive been looking through past bos trial results and im just wondering how these raw marks would "scale" in comparison to raw marks in the hsc going to scaled and aligned ykwim? like, do people who've achieved x in the bos trials usually go on to get a hsc mark that's in some way related to x?
