gay, I can't use the combined pill, mini pill is inferior

On topic, my skin usually gets better after a boozy night. Maybe it's something to do with alcohol being dehydrating, drying your skin. I dunno.

If I remember/am sober enough/can be bothered to take off my makeup before I fall asleep after a night out, my skin will be ok. If I forget or I stay out literally all night (hence wearing make up for like 16 hours or more) then I'll pay for it pretty badly. Only, it's not the next day. It becomes apparent like three days later, so I'm all 'yay I escaped it' and then Tuesday rolls around and I look like a "before" shot for a miracle skin treatment ad. It usually calms down by the end of the week but it's damn annoying.

I'm looking into going on the pill to stop the hormonal breakouts around period time as well...because that's the most annoying, like a sign on your face telling the world your rags are on the way and there's nothing else you can do about them! They aren't from your diet or anything, it's just your body being shit. grr.

This is exactly what happens to me.

Like I need another reason to feel shit at period time.

And my current pill does nothing about it, so it's time to change.

but theres so much trial and error with pill types. Some girls who take a certain brand, like yasmin or something, would have clear skin, but others break out and get fat etc.

For the first few months at least. Or if you start skipping the red ones, holy shit, jugs ahoy!

scrub
cleanser
and do that every month.

i find this helps open the pores and clean them out.

I said I do that already. I'm almost 21 now, that's almost a decade worth of skin trial and error of products/cleansing etc.

We're talking about sporadic breakouts to normally clear skin

i don't think there is anything you can do, especially as a guy. if i have a huge night then i'll get one or two little ones over the next week which last a few days, they are hardly noticeable though.

i've tried no less than 6 different types of contraceptive pill, and all of them i had to come off for some reason or other.

in a couple of weeks i'm getting a copper IUD

As for skin breakouts, just leave them. Everyone dies at the end anyway.
