On the point of freedom of speech the west can hardly take the moral high ground. why is it that questioning the extent of the halocaust is deemed anti-semetic and a crime against humanity and can land you in jail in 6 Western countries, yet when someone ridicules a religion and disrespects it, it is allowed as an expression of free speech? Is this evidence of an great pillar of the western world or simply something that highlights the islamaphobia, double standards. and racism inherent in western countries?

No one is taking the moral high ground here, I am a practising homosexual and is not religious and your statements expose how insular and how can you scold me for being Islamophobic (which is perfectly acceptable due that any ideology can be analysed discussed and criticized as religion is only an idea not something that is the natural state of a person) when you are blatanly using inflammatory terms which are discriminatory against homosexuals.

Anti-Semitism and Holocaust Denial is discriminatory due to it being racism, as the Jews are a race and whilst Denial being a crime may be a little too extreme, there still are reports of many Islamists making claims that not only the Holocaust never happened, but that 9/11 was orchestrated by the Jews as a conspiracy against Muslims. However ridiculous that may seem, no charges were laid, even in Iran where freedom of speech is non-existant and many of these Islamic leaders are against freedom of speech against dead prophets who may have never existed in books that are deemed "holy". There's some double standards, innit.

As for the list of things Christians have done against Muslims just highlights the stupid things people do for religion and morals and ethics, which are plain rubbish as judged from books which are over a thousand years old and have little in common with our modern lives. I believe the world would be a much better place if no one ever claimed god spoke to these Prophets in all of the Abrahamistic (Christianity, Judaism, Islam) religions and people follow like the Pied Piper to a reward that is NOT justified.

Western countries are not so much "Christian" these days they have gone through an important separation of church and state to make sure the dogmatic crap from the main religion would have to make everyone else's lives a misery, by forcing them to follow things that they do not believe in. That is how we allow dickheads like you, into this country and on the other hand, in many Islamic countries either you are not allowed to practise any other religion or belief or you have little rights and are a dhimmi.

So in the bottom line, get off your high horse and stop demanding that we bow down to your religion and try to blur racism with Islamophobia.

My statements about religion only had to stem from iranian_rocket's attack on me for "being racist" towards Islam, but had to inform him that it also is a political movement that shows double standards in the Islamic world against freedom of speech issues such as flag burning and cartoon drawing of dead people.
