every time i played sc at a net cafe i played through battle.net

the only time lan was used at net cafes was for tournaments

It'd cheeze me off to play over the internet when my friend was right next to me. But I don't know much about battle.net, I'm talking about CnC and CS. Actually, we would play Battlefield 2 online, but it wasn't just us.

I proerdered this game for PC. Hopefully the single player is longer than the last one but the multiplayer... dammit. (I havn't actually played it yet so i cant talk about pc multiplayer )

I mean come on, Blizzard's practically designing the game FOR Koreans and Koreans love their LAN tournys
They have TV channels dedicated to live games. LAN games.

ok so i just watched gamespot's video review for modern warfare 2, and it looks awesome (minus the online multiplayer for pc), and its got all these perks and stuff u unlock.

do these "perks" come in cod4 online multiplayer too?

Should I buy for Xbox, full graphics, but i have to pay for XBL and limited to how much i can play.

OR

Should i buy for PC, will have low GFX (dependent on my shocking 9300m G nVidia), dont have to pay to play, and easily upgradable when i get a desktop.

Pc version has the ability to run at higher gfx settings but it sucks that in the options there is not that much scope for customisability with the gfx.

I didn't mind the game on pc.

PC as gameplay is probably better. I take playing the game more over worse graphics any day. Keyboard and mouse> controller
