Hi all,

I am trying to relate three texts to "The Crucible" by Arthur Miller.
The texts are:
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Movie)
Where the Wild Things are (Picture Book)
Jasper Jones (Novel)

My main idea is "Young individuals desperate for self expression" as it links all four and is very obvious in each text.
If anyone has any other themes or ideas linking all four or just two, could you help me please?

The question is: "Critically evaluate how the text links to ideas relevant to belonging and the related text." I have to write a short paragraph on each text and I dont want to do Self-expression for all three parts.

Thanks

I would highly recommend you to deconstruct the belonging rubric and construct thesis sentences under each area of the rubric to allow you to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation about the diversity of the different types of belonging you can encounter, and accordingly think deeper about the various areas of belonging your texts actually examines, sometimes you don't need to only focus on ideas common in all texts, you can consider ideas which is different across all texts as well:)

My teacher gave me these aspects and said we need to find and analyse the effect of examples from the text. At least 6 for each text.
