My internal mark for chemistry was approx 85 and my rank was 6/27, However i feel like my Raw mark achieved in the actual HSC exam would be in the 60's. After aligning, scaling, moderation and all the other processes that take place, is it still possible for me to achieve a band 6 or band 5?

Don't worry too much-just enjoy this time, and when the results come out-you will get the answer... speculating on raw marks is quite futile-you can never be sure and internal marks are not helpful either as some school choose to moderate their marks and it also depends on how the rest of your cohort performed... you will be fine:)

60's in Chemistry usually scale to 80's so I'd say you have a pretty good chance of getting a band 5.

Can't be too sure about a band 6 though.

You can get a low band 5. Just relax and don't worry too much.

If you're class performed really well, you may get a high band 5, or in a rare case of your underestimation, possibly a band 6.

Stay positive, and know that no matter what happens, things always turn out ok.
