Yes it's been done before; but I'm wondering; who in year 12 has a casual job at the moment? Are you planning to just have a break while the exams are on, or are you chucking it in just before the HSC?

Hmm, I'm glad to hear other peoples in year 12 have a casual job; my mum always goes on about mine; but like some of you guys; it keeps me sane! :uhhuh: Well as sane as I can be anyway! :D

Haha. Ive almost quit my job 4 times because I felt as if it was interferring with my study. But then I figured that I probably wouldnt use that time for study anyway :p May as well be getting paid for bludging :D

The HSC doesnt leave a whole lot of time for going out and socialising so thats why my job is great. I work in a surf store so naturally is really, really close knit and friendly. Its good to escape the pressures for a little while, and just muck around.

And I only work at most 9-10 hours per week. Usually on a weekend.

I agree 'EnterNameHere' I probably would, actually I know I wouldn't use the xtra time effectively, so I rather be doing something useful; like earning myself some money...

Yeh i have a job and work 10+ hrs a week (+ is the call ins) i wont be dropping it at all! When the HSC exams are on IF im tired ill ring them and say "cant come hsc stuffed me its really gay blah blah blah". As you can tell im all TOO relaxed about exams, i think thats maybe because ive only decided what i wanna do at the end of yr11 and im doin the complete WRONG subjects for it. Oh well shit happens, always tafe....

Hmm, I don't work 10+ hrs; only about 9 at a max! But I agree about TAFE! Anyone can go back next year and either redo the the whole HSC or just redo subjects that they think they can do better in; and BOS will recalculate your UAI! :)

I quit my job when year 12 started. I regret that, as I should realistically have quit around about now.

Oh well, there's always after the HSC.
