Just oxidise it again with dichromate, if changes to green then aldehyde present (oxidising to carboxylic acid) and if stays orange then ketone

when nesa finishes their essay on how esterification is extremely dangerous, globally catastrophic because esters are volatile, but the one true kryptonite of this is Fischers process of acid reflux

I think NESA forgot to include the flashpoint dangers of ethanol, can't have kids combusting while doing the experiment

seeing that the difficulty was about the same as last year, im predicting that it should be around the low 80s of 80-82
