Oh we were surpose to get them back today. But she forgot!!!! My my forgot about year 12. Hopfully she won't forget that we have a HSC at the end of this year

we didnt have english 2day

I came first. That's a big jump - 45th in preliminary to 1st in HSC.

we had to do a speech where we had to become a character and go on an imaginative journey, but it had to somehow be linked to a text from the stimulus booklet. i suck at speeches extraordinarily much, but i was reasonably happy with 18/20. if it was a short story, i would have gotten 20/20, i lost marks because i spoke too loud and had hair on my face. this was worth 10%.

on wednesday i handed in another mammoth english ass, worth 20%. knowing our english faculty, we will get the results next week.

we did a folio where we had to choose 5 texts relating to the theme of physical journeys, and answer a bunch of questions on each text. managed 95/100 for that one, although i think my presentation pulled that mark up a bit...
and then we did a speech where we had to talk about 1 of our own texts, 2 set texts (skrzynecki), and one of the stimulus texts. kinda lost it on that and got 85/100. was still happy with my marks though

we did something v. similar to that - we had to chose 4 related texts, and anwer questions like how it develops understanding of Imag. Journ.; also techniques that help with purpose, etc.
the second part is still to come, where we have to write a short story in class that relates to an imag journ. the actual question will be given on the day. seems easy enough.

i had my journey assesment...in two parts..
4/6 and 11/15 so 19/25...i could have done better im not happy with my marks but its only the first assesment..so i got time to improve.

3. Listening task: 14.5/15
4. Speech: 40/40

Yea, well, i worked my BUTT OFF for those marks, and so yea, i think that if you work hard enough, you'll get the marks you deserve.
