What I’ve found (literally rn during trials) that I like more than flashcards is making condensed tables with key concepts (especially hard ones) and explanations only with what is essential to know. I’ve made flashcards but I’m literally transferring them to these tables bc I like it more lol, idk why
I totally agree with this tables are wonderful

I would but I decided to handwrite my notes for some of my subjects so I can't just copy and paste into quizlet. But for the subjects which I don't have notes for I'm gonna use quizlet lol. But next year I'm def typing my notes up for all my subjects cause it will be much faster copying and pasting stuff and idc if handwriting helps u remember stuff better
The main benefit for flashcards for me is honestly just the sheer portability, I can shove them in my pocket and read them in the car, I don't need to bring a bag to exams bc they fit in my pocket and I can put them with somebody else's stuff for the actual task

For notes tho esp for ur subjects yeah for sure do digital notes
The only subject I handwrite notes for is chem (don't ask me why I don't have a reason)

next term do us 26ers still call ourselves year 11s or can we say we're in yr 12
strange system this hsc . You start year 12 in year 11 . You can’t be called year 12 becuse year 12 exist as hsc students .

you start the new year as year 12 even though you have done a term of hsc you are not officially year 12 until you start your second term as hsc students but your first term as year 12 .

see theres some NESA logic for you ! !

I FORGOT TO SAY yeah after we finish youse r year12 but no one rlly takes it seriously until term 1

year 12 has no timetabled classes in term 4 as they are doing hsc but year 11 students don’t have A timetabled year 12 class either . They are year 11 till end of term 4 but have one module for hsc completed before they are officially recognised as year 12 in 2026

i recommend this mindset. great way to fuck up your rank straight off the bat
mhm the transition to year 12 in the last term of year 11 had most people just straight up treat the first assesment like it was nothing, then after ppl realise oh crap that was my chance to rank 1 everyone goes into comeback and locked in mode 😭😭😭
