How do you find your other subjects? Is Legal the most boring one for you?

rn, modern is so good, 4u is amazing, physics is good, chem is kinda mid/kinda interesting (in the middle), and legal is a bit boring, yet interesting as well.

IIRC we don't have to do related texts for Common Module? Correct if I'm wrong.
Prescribed for me is The Crucible, not looking forward to the first exam

What about in terms of performance (as in which subjects you performed worst in for prelim)?

Enjoyment and prelim marks are usually the 2 main considerations most people make when choosing what to drop

the rubric says prescribed text, but idk maybe ur school is different, you should ask your teacher though.

That's so full on for start of HSC Course! To be fair probably prepares you earlier and better for trials and all. My exam's next week but it's only Section II of Paper 1.

To be fair a bunch of 24ers were saying we are probably getting extracts in HSC exam bc they haven't done that for a few years now (and maybe NESA wants ppl to stop memorising essays).
The way my teacher's been preparing the class for exam though, we are basically memorising much of the essay (conceptuals, rough TEEs), but idk if you rlly can memorise more than that

It's not part of the common module in the HSC but some schools will make you do one anyways !!

Hi class of 2025!

My name is Wishah Junaid and I graduated from Baulkham Hills High School this year, ranking 1st internally for both English Advanced and English Extension 1. Of course, no obligation to join but I know Task 1 is approaching soon, and so if any of you would be interested I am running a paid online presentation on 1984 (cost is 20 dollars) on the 24th of November via Zoom!

The time is yet to be decided, but it will run for 2 hours - all students will get access to a range of student + textbook material after the presentation, as well as a mock Paper 1 I have curated by going through a lot of school trial papers. I will also send out a document with my sample answers + general feedback that may be useful when self-marking. I can't seem to attach the link to the expression of interest form here but I am happy to dm it to anyone interested.

1984 also my damn school just switched commod texts this yr so none of that stuff from the past yr 12s were helpful bruh + they listed up all the texts we were doing for next yr e.g tempest/hagseed, ts elliot but i didnt have that memorised so sucks to suck to me i hope that graduate enjoyed my 10$

but i also did end up giving into making a studocu acc cause i was desperate to see what was behind the blurred section and i guess it was all very mediocre i have premium until the 4th of dec so if any1 needs anything ig u could pm me but the damn thing puts ur details out in the download so i have to manually redact it too u should consider checking out the resources section of bos if u havent though bye i just leaked my details

im doing the same, I literally cannot find a related text that someone hasn't done in past years at my school (therefore 'no originality' in my teachers words)
