they should only back up your writing so if you find yourself replacing your evidence with their quotes thats where you'll start to lose instead of gain marks. bcs they want to see how you interpret the text (possibly influenced by that theorist), not just what that theorist thinks. So id say use them sparingly

Ahh thank you! So it's not really study them but like quotes and ideas similar to what we use to support our electives essay analysis? And we only use them in a critical or reflective response right?

yep! ive never seen someone use it in a creative (idk how u would if it wasnt just in the reflection). we didnt rlly like "study them" its just kinda knowing what they r vaguely talking abt and 1/2 quotes from each source you think would fit into the parts of the syllabus

Same is anyone else rlly anxious about how they did lol, I can’t stop thinking about if I’ll get the B6
I swear bio's the kind of subject where the more u study the more easily u mess up bc u start overthinking

I'm anxious bc this is the only subject where I have absolutely no buffer (my internal rank is x_x) so I realllyyy need to score high to b6. I'm assuming ur in a similar situation, but I'm sure u did very well! At least u got the mother/daughter q so that's a good sign

Yesss omg this happened to me in multiple choice, I overthought and crossed out correct answers like come on… I’m really scared my mc is gonna drag my overall mark

Same with me too my internals are cooked so I was hoping for at least a scaled 92-93, hence why I want a raw 90. But rip I hope I did well but it’s just so hard to tell cuz the marking is so strict. I’m sure u did good too dw : )

they cant ask an essay question in legal about the theme and challenge, "Effectiveness of legal and non-legal measures in achieving justice", right bc what would you even write for non-legal measures?

They definitely could I got one in the trial for shelter and one of my internals for crime was that question

yeah for the options i understand how to write a non-legal para, but what would you even talk about for crime non-lgeal?
In my essay I talked about the 'sniff-off' facebook campaigns by the Greens, Public outrage after the DPP chose not to prosecute in the Lynette Daley case, and the Podcast which investigated the R v Dawson 2022 murder which led to a conviction
