Guys im actually so stressed, I have been like studying every day but half of it is honestly just looking at my computer. Likeeee I feel alright but my english teacher is so harsh and I don't know how to even do english for exams. Like I have 3 essays but do I just memorise them? They're adaptable but I'm just confusedddd. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

my eng teacher is a hsc marker for mod A and she suggests doing two integrated body paragraphs for mod A; and i think its three paragraphs for common mod and mod B but i need to check on that

i think this is also good to know - the word textual conversation has to be in the thesis no matter what or its not answering the question at all . she says that your essay is gonna be about textual conversations no matter the q so always use it

Bruh my teacher said to do 4, which is kind of the same structure i guess but just 4 smaller instead of two really big? Right?

yeah basically each paragraph for the 2 paragraph structure has around 6 pieces of evidence. so theyre like really big ones

No literally its so many And my teacher told me (for adv english at least) that they need to be 1200 words! So we need to memorise idk how many 1200 word essays and write them in 4O MINUTES how the hell can anyone do that!? (ik its normally 45 but my teacher wants us to use the 5 for planning)

when u say integrated is it like in one paragraph you take turns yapping about both and keep swapping or is it just like u talk about one and then say like conversely the other does this in the same paragraph

do a ton of practise responses, and i mean a TON. try not to memorise by just reading/writing the same essay the whole time so you're flexible to adapt to questions

This, and also, if you've memorised your body paragraphs' evidence and analysis well enough and just need practice adapting, you can write an introduction and topic sentences for each prompt/question that you come across. This will save you time, and a strong intro that is carried throughout the essay is essential for top marks

integrated is where you have two big paragraphs. one on a resonance and another on a resonance. and then for the resonance paragraph consider the dissonances in the resonance; and for the dissonance paragraph, consider the resonances in the dissonance (she said this is where the nuance/sophisticaiton is). For each paragraph you essentially need to provide evidence from each text about the general resonance/dissonace, and then three analysed evidences from each text about the resonance or dissonance within that general resonance/dissonace.

she also said that an essay isnt always three paragraphs; it can be two very big ones with good quality analysis.
