No, you get the 30th external HSC assessment mark, but your exam mark is what you got in your own exam. Your HSC mark is an average of these two, so technically if you get an assessment mark that's slightly lower than 90 (88, 89), it's possible for you to get a band 6 if you do much better in externals (90, 91, 92) to bring the average up, but it'd be hardso even if my rank stays 30 but i try rlly hard for externals, ill still get the 30th external hsc exam mark?![]()
Best thing you can do is lock in hard for trials and get your rank into at least top 20
