bruhhh what?no way this is the hardest it's only q26...unless you mean purely common content bc series has some super creative qs to my knowledge

this for example is technically in the financial topic to my knowledge 'cause of series/sequences (2024 HSC)
wait what year was the ferris wheel question in, i haven't heard of this yet?Since the ferris wheel question seemed to bog people down, I wouldn't be surprised if something similar shows up this year. I haven't seen inverse/direct variation in a while so I expect it might come up. As optimisation has mainy been seen in geometric contexts since the start of the new syllabus, I'm assuming we'll likely see an optimisation problem which is something else besides from geometric problems. And also, probability; I'm thinking there will a KILLER question on conditional probability will come up.
2024 ADV paperwait what year was the ferris wheel question in, i haven't heard of this yet?
oh no i haven't got to that one yet2024 ADV paper
this isn't really creative all they asked is for u to show that x/1-x = -1 - 1/x-1 algebraicly, which i could have done but i didn't think of thatno way this is the hardest it's only q26...unless you mean purely common content bc series has some super creative qs to my knowledge

I guess so, but I would say this is pretty interesting esp for an adv paper (ik they bore you lol), like it's linking two different concepts/topics which to me is considered a creative q 'cause it's no longer rote applicationthis isn't really creative all they asked is for u to show that x/1-x = -1 - 1/x-1 algebraicly, which i could have done but i didn't think of that

Memorising essays is a trap and I would not recommend it.has anyone started memorising their english essays?
I'm just memorisimg my quotes and thesis statements.has anyone started memorising their english essays?
well i get bad marks either way so i might as well memoriseMemorising essays is a trap and I would not recommend it.
The current english HSC syllabus and paper writers do NOT like memorised essays for obvious reasons and there has been a lot of discussion on how to combat memorised essays in english from the markers, so very likely this years question will be pretty specific and hard to adapt a full essay to. Also, if your memorising an essay for hsc in 2025 and its obvious, the markers will be extremely harsh, and if you can do all the work of research and practice to memorise enough essays to be prepared for an exam and get away with it, your probably better off using that energy towards actually studying and practicing to get a better mark. Don't fall to the trap of "oh my tutor or sibling etc memorised their essay and got great marks" because unless they did the 2022 hsc or later, their memorised essay plan was before they started cracking down, and wouldn't work today.
That being said, there is some positive to memorising an essay, it actually can help, but only if you use it to build on your ideas and remember key quotes instead of just retelling an essay you top and tailed to the question.
imo if u get bad marks either way you as may as well not waste ur time memorise and use the time to practice adapting or working on other subjectswell i get bad marks either way so i might as well memorise
ykw, completely validwell i get bad marks either way so i might as well memorise
i dont have time to think on the spot with 2 hours for 3 essays and im simultaneously adapting and memorising fuck this dhitty subjectimo if u get bad marks either way you as may as well not waste ur time memorise and use the time to practice adapting or working on other subjects
I just gave up and started freeballing every exam, i do no study dont pay attention in class but with a good short answer response i make it over 50% average and im happy. saves alot of time to not study but also like im not gonna get a good atar i might be screwed lmaooi dont have time to think on the spot with 2 hours for 3 essays and im simultaneously adapting and memorising fuck this dhitty subject
but lowkey if that's kinda a good method cause if u know u can spend all that time u spend on eng on other subejcts and do really well then u can just bomb eng. Cause if u feel like u put a lot of effort into eng and aren't getting the results u may as well spend that time on other subjects to ensure u get a band 6 then spend all that time to get a mediocre mark. I would do this but too bad I suck at most of my other subjects as well so I can't.I just gave up and started freeballing every exam, i do no study dont pay attention in class but with a good short answer response i make it over 50% average and im happy. saves alot of time to not study but also like im not gonna get a good atar i might be screwed lmaoo
