This thread is reserved for albums that are widely considered classics, so anyone mentioning something by Korn or their ilk will be ignored and very likely laughed at. With that in mind:

Marvin Gaye - What's Goin' On
AC/DC - Back In Black

Maybe he means albums that are considered classics, but are atrocious? If so, The Bodyguard Soundtrack would be up there.

not really a classic, but everyone from little teenyboppers to critics to grammy voters seemed to shit their pants over american idiot by green day, and i think it's their fucking lamest album to date.

But it's a rock opera! Who doesn't love them? Even if they do suck.

how the fudge is that a classic?
It's Megadeth's best, and it'd definately be a classic in thrash metal circles.

I agree. I almost feel really awful for being unable to see how apparently amazing it is. It's just a "solid" album, imo... but not spectacular. :\

Agreed. Pretty much anything without Barrett will put me to sleep. Piper at the Gates of Dawn is one of my favourite albums of all time:cool:

David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust

It's the only Bowie album I've listened to and I don't like it at all
