what you guys think of taking supplements? any1 taking any atm?
Im currently taking Ritalin LA 40mg for concentration. It works.

Oh and its not obtained illegally.

But for you (as you probably couldn't get Ritalin and I wouldn't suggest you take it because it would most likely have a bad impact on your concentration) I would recommend taking a Vitamin B Complex suppliment.

Vitamin B is really important for memory and concentration. Thing is, all the Vitamin B's rely on eachother to actually work, and thats why you should take a Vitamin B COMPLEX preperation (because it contains most of the B group vitamins).

Also you could take some Vitamin C along with your Vitamin B Complex.

Ginkgo biloba is also good, as it increases blood flow to the brain and therefore providing the brain with more oxygen and energy. If you buy Ginkgo biloba, you should get the Blackmores Ginkgoforte.

Other than that I cant provide you with any more advice as I dont have any :D

I take Vitamin B, but that's because I have a deficiency- when I heard that it's related to brain function and can cause anemia like symptoms (not to mention angular collitis) I decided I should fix that.
Most Vitamin B tablets come mixed with Vitamin C- I wouldn't buy the ones that aren't, because there are few things on this Earth that taste worse than straight Vitamin B.

If I buy vitamins, I don't buy the chewable ones. I buy the ones that you just swallow whole with some water. High potency ones.

When I first started taking it, I got depressed coming down from it - that may have had something to do with the looming results from 1/2 yearlies, though.

I do actually- trying to increase it in the diet is always better than taking supplements. But my mother and I keep weird hours, so maintaining a balanced diet is really difficult, so for this year I'm falling back on the simplest solution.

Way to jump to conclusions. Nobody's looking for a quick fix. What do you think, people who take supplements are going to say 'Yay, I'm on gingko, now I can spend the rest of the year watching cartoons and wait for the band sixes to roll in'? Hard work is always going to remain the most important factor in the HSC, but every little bit counts- that's why we spend time on this forum, buy study guides, go to lectures and take supplements.
If you don't think supplements are worth the money, good for you. But you've got no right to attack others who think they are, and you've certainly got no right to inflict more idiotic slogans on the world.

It is an opinion. Not an attack.

If you know me, I encourage people to believe in themselves.

Unluckly for you, I didn't invent the 'idiotic slogans'. They are quotes from very successful people.

You are an idiot.
You obviously have no idea about this topic, you are embarassing yourself by posting random quotes which have nothing to do with anything being discussed here.

You encourage people to believe in themselves?
Who the fuck do you think you are?
dr phil?

What does taking supplements have to do with not believing in ones self?

supplements aren't sterioids buddy!

every single successful sports person in the world takes supplement

go take your quotes and preach your bullshit somewhere else

successful people?
bruce lee was successful alright, he was a successful actor
and you are an idiot for taking what he says and preaching it
