if this is true, then Im not going....
what a waste...I was so fired up for it...

seriously...they have killed it....sitting outside on the grass drinking was the best part of it....

Last year was one of the best days of my life...

why would they do this...it is beyond logical reasoning...

that bitch is useless.....there better be an uprising of epic proportions...

Great news! I've just spoken to SAM, and Conception Day will be held outdoors in the usual area! While it will still be restricted to CURRENT Macquarie students only (sorry past students), it will still be a great day out in the sun! This is definately good news.

I honestly don't think the Mac students only is THAT big a tragedy. While I would love to invite my Uni mates from other places, Conception Day did start out as a Macquarie muck up day, so in a way we're returning to our roots! I am very disappointed that past students can't come though. I think that's a real shame.

my mate who spoke to the barman yesterday said that non-mq's are still going to come. he said something along the lines of, that they make a shitload of money from the entry fees...

Yeah, economically its stupid, socially, its stupid, the only reason i can think of banning them is for safety/security reasons.

It wouldn't have been 30 years ago to the day, where they stormed the Vice-Chancellor's office and locked them out would it !?

Ah, that is so good.

I'm so happy. The real question is: Will they even bother policing the 'students only' rule? I mean, how would they even start?
