Set up coordinate axes and a line AB 6cm long. Point P divides AB in the ratio 1:2.

Show that the locus of P is an ellipse and write its equation.

lol i dont really get the question.
i think i'm intepreting it wrong because dont u just get P is 2units away from A, and its a circle with radius 2? lol i dunno
