Contact Paper for texts (1 Viewer)

Ok this is kinda fail but anyway...

So i bought some contact paper for my text books, the clear shit btw..
and ive just realised i have no clue about how to put it on. ive sorta got in idea but i might screw it up lol

Does anyone know how to put it on "correctly"?

There should be instructions inside the contact paper itself. Alternatively, you can get one of those slip ons, much easier. I find covering my books frustrating.

This may be too late but just in case-
Roll out the contact on the paper side.
Place the book cover side down and open it so the pages flop to both sides.
Line your ruler up to the corner of each of the four corners of the book and make a line with your pencil.
Cut along the lines (this should give you four triangles to put in the bin)
Put your pencil and make a mark on both sides of the binder and cut out (this should give you two trapeziums)
Take the book off and peel the right half of the contact paper until you reach the binder.
Place book along the binder line and place down.
Repeat with other side.

I reckon eh, but nowadays after practice I rarely get bubbles unless if they're really really tiny ones

I don't know how you can get bubbles... I got bubbles on the first book I covered, on the back of the second book I covered and then never again.
Also, how do you not know how to apply fucking contact?!
