He means "one word".

And with a Frankenstein story just play with the monster within and without idea, in your stories or use a gothic setting if thats your module, in such a way that it makes a rudimentary comment on society.

you should have a decent description of environment, you need to make each of your characters distinct, limit the amount of characters you introduce if its for advanced, have a very simple plot which is preferably not about teen angst or teen romance and make sure it has some sort of relation to whatever subject your teacher picks for prelim ie if its journeys then someone should journey, if its relationships then a relationship should be affected, and don't forget to use some basic techniques such as metaphor and simile(dont overdo it) if you can.

Oe???? sorry done get what you mean
You could explore the ideas represented within Frankenstein from a contemporary perspective by using cloning as a plot mechanism.

If you were going for an appropriation, the most obvious concept to play with would be successful creation of a clone and subsequent failure of the clone to meet certain 'standards' (social interaction, morals, ethics, intellectual, et cetera).

Otherwise you could still fiddle with the ideas in Frankie by considering the social and ethical issues surrounding cloning; the clone need not be the monster - the scientists could be represented as the monsters. Really, looking at the text, both Frankenstein and the creation were monsters of sorts.
