considering nsw had 7 internationals, we didn't exactly hammer the vics. who had no one, except for hodge and hussey. and its the 'other' hussey.

bring on ipl and let's see lee bouncing symonds!!

ipl all live broadcasts on ten, who bought it for the next 5 years.

i guess the x factor with ipl is that for the first time, we can actually see players from the same country playing against each other. apart from domestic cricket in aust, which is few and far in between, i rarely see the big names battle it out. how will warne bowl to gilly or clarke, or how will hussey take on lee. there will always be that extra something when you bowl or bat against your own countrymen.

Sounds like one of those bullshit stories fringe players say for their exclusion.

I don't think the timetable is built to suit us here in Australia: though if I'm not mistaken Ten HD has some of the earlier matches from 8.30 every evening, or most of the evenings at least.

The one that just ended, Deccan v Bangalore was live. Glad to see that cricket in Sydney is before AFL :) Just shows how much Sydneysiders don't give a fuck about anything in AFL that isn't red and white.

Sigh - all those tons in Pura Cup amount to nothing.. although to be fair to him I don't think he's a natural opener - maybe in ODIs, but not in Tests. I would have opened with Jaques and Hussey, but the selectors seem to think Huss is best at number 4 or 5. Personally I think wherever he is he'll be great.
