Does anyone do this?
And how much do you make (or lose)?
I'm interested in taking part.
Thinking of buying $US when it reaches parity because I don't think the Aussie dollar will start to fall relative to it after that.

you need like 1 000 000 also you will lose all of your money because you sound like an idiot. you can make like 3/4 cent on each dollar you have. hopes this helps

pretty sure you trade on the FOREX!
i dont think you should be trading currency if you dont even have the knowledge of where the market is located. i personally suggest u open a bank account with a turkish bank there paying about 16% interest... definately a better option in such volatile conditions.

isnt there a better way to make money from currency such as derivative or sum other instruments? i mean if you were to simply buy a certain currency the gain is so minimal as currencies r generally not as responsive as stocks for example.

even if you bought AUD 4 years ago and held your gain is only like 40%?? Good but hardly something to brag about in a 4 year investment. saving in a 7% bank deposit will earn you nearly as much with no risk.

anyone who knows about it please enlighten me.

Forex trading. I used to trade every day, but then moved onto futures/cfds. You can get up to 100:1 leverage. Go in with $1000 and take a $1mill position and profit off small movements. This is if you are talking short term.
