why did every admin worker protest resign?
my perspective on what happened as a newbie staff:

the director one day attacked one of the receptionists via email by scolding him and making some weird demands, then forwarded that email to every single staff member to humiliate him or whatever reason. admin dude probably saw that everyone else got CCd as if it were the town square. people started talking about the email saying woah that was uncalled for I wonder what happened to him and then we heard that he quit and people were teary when he packed up his stuff for real less than a day after the email. chain of events then started and more and more receptionists quit following him since he seemed to be one of the senior ones. then some teachers quit then some more senior people quit and people were like oh no this is a burning ship better run. We have new receptionists now though but they keep getting replaced..

Was a shame I liked the reception dude he had a spreadsheet of food recommendtions.

don't do delta please for the love of god. it is not worth it, you might as well use the resources ur school give u for english and practice yourself at home, just get tutoring for something like maths to stay competitive if you don't already have it. PS: I took a trial lesson a year back when i was starting Year 11, and then I left coz it was not anything special. Now I am top 20 in English in I would say maybe a Top 15 school for English in the state, so you really don't need tutoring for English if you know what ur doing.

Idk, I go there and it's pretty good lol. Definitely a bit overkill if you don't really like English or you're not aiming for a solid Band 6, you can get private tutoring MUCH cheaper but probably not as comprehensive and detailed.
what is the class like? and what do they teach? what is there teaching style or does the depend on what teacher you get?

If anyone reading this is thinking about going to Delta, here is my two cents. I was a student at Delta last year and this year and I just graduated. I was there from late-ish Year 11 and I can confirm that it’s gone downhill. The bottom line is that all the good tutors quit.

Now I’m not going to lie. It STARTED off great. It was exxy but in the beginning I felt like they mostly carried through on their promise to give me the best tutors I could get. I was hesitant to join in the beginning because of the bad rep floating around but ultimately when I joined there WERE a few tutors there who were amazing and gave everything they could to help you out.

BUT AND A BIG BUT... from around my Trial exam-ish onwards, it was an absolute shitshow and this is pretty much the case based on what all the other delta grads have been saying. Classes constantly cancelled and rescheduled the night before or even THE DAY OF. You rock up for your class and then a random tells you that class isn’t going ahead. NO explanation NO refund NO replacement NOTHING. They just tell you too bad you should check your emails or go to a different class with a completely different teacher who doesn't even know what you're up to. Tutors swapped out of nowhere, classes changing and repeated itself, and the teachers looked stressed just by being there. The receptionists couldn’t help me with even the most basic things. The quality of feedback went dramatically downhill. My mates and I compared the marking we got from our tutors and the difference in quality was dramatic.

It’s luck of the draw based on what tutor you get. You can check their website. A lot of tutors are gone from the website and I’m pretty sure half the “tUToRs” on their website don’t even work there. I’ve never seen half these “tutors” there for over a year and none of my friends had them as tutors. It’s a shame but I won’t recommend the place to anyone and I regret going to Delta now. If it wasnt for the first half being amazing I probably would've fought to get the refund. We're all warning the year below that the good tutors are all gone. Another thing is that the customer service is probably the worst of all the tutoring centres. Good luck if you ever have an issue. One of my friends sent an email about classes being constantly cancelled and changed and asked for a refund or some kind of replacement to make up for it. Her dad was given some bs by the owner then he was told all but to piss off. Now I’ve dealt with Matrix, Zhangs, Ngo and Ace over the years and while their customer service isn't perfect they're atleast professional and care about fixing the problem. Delta charges people 10k+ for ENGLISH TUTORING and treats you like a waste of oxygen if you raise any problems and threatens you if say you're going to post a public review lmfao. The Delta owner likes to act like he cares online by telling people to contact him but everyone I know who HAS is just screwed around even more... now, hearing about the way they treat the employees on top of all this is insane given the tutors are the only thing that attracted me and I’d say all my mates to Delta in the first place. Delta is no longer what it once was and they’re riding their past rep. I would’ve quit this year once the good tutors left if I could've got a refund.

Wow. Didn’t expect it to get EVEN worse (you really would have loved it back when I was there).

Really such a shame. It’s been run into the ground by iSplicer. Guess he just got greedy after Covid-19.
