as ive seen NTB post ages ago, he asked some law firm (dunno what one, but i think it was pretty good) if it matters what uni you go too, and they said no, they only employ people with a D average

That makes a lot more sense...just because you got 99.6 doesnt make you a good lawyer :uhhuh:

No high school marks are really indicative in whether you can be a good lawyer. Take Jonathon A for example. He had to transfer into law for 2nd year, and that boy KNOWS HIS LAW, and has the passion for it too

exactly I've spoken to him on many occasions and he knows his stuff...My teacher (who studied law) said I'd make a good lawyer but first I have to get into a law degree...

btw, i could make out UNSW ivory (read: ugly concrete choc-top) tower from level 16 of the Supreme Ct building today (the office of the Federal Ct registry). their back offices are kickass, the view is really awesome - you see southwards all the way to botany bay!
