For you yes it may be moronic, but that's why it is called faith, we have faith in our religions. All you are doing is following the 'facts' of todays day and age. Facts change all the time, it used to be a 'fact' that the Earth was flat, but obviously that was wrong. Having faith is something else, it gives you something to believe in and it gives purpose to your life. When you don't believe in anything, what is the point of your life, you're here for lets say 80 years and then that's it, all over. It's only through faith, that you will enjoy and cherish life, otherwise who gives a fuck right, just do whatever the fuck you want, no consequences. That is your belief, i'm not trying to change it, you find criticism in mine, and I do it likewise. That is how everything works, there will never be a time when everyone agrees.
