Ask your college? Not at mine. You at least don't have to pay the bond kinda thingy, but you get that back when you leave as long as you haven't trashed your room. Nor the o week and other first year fees.

It's competitive to get in, so it wouldn't make sense to reward people for staying there when there's a waiting list.
