I am a Year 11 student planning on doing...
Drama
Visual Art
Music 2
Advanced English
Extension 1 & 2

The majority of these are completely subjectively marked (nil Advanced and Ext. 1).
I was having an argument with a friend today over whether you could get a 90+ UAI doing purely creative subjects. And it got me thinking whether doing less creative subjects would give you a slight advantage (because all creative subjects require a Major Work, which is marked subjectively by the marker..)

Just wondering what everyone thought?

Definitely. 98-99+ will also be possible. Not too common with 100 but it may be done.

Of course it is possible, if you really suceed at your sujects and put alot of effort into majors. I think what you really should be asking is if you can handle doing all the major works. This year (Im doing year twelve this year), my friends had art and DT due in the same week. Drama HSC was the week after and music takes place the week after drama. You have to realise, the major works not only take up alot of your time outside of school but especially drama, you will find yourself taking alot of classtime out after the trials, to focus on group plays and monologues.
But then again, they say you should do the subjects you are passionate about. A high UAI is definately possible, if you can stick it out.
Goodluck!

anything's possible. Besides, with those subjects it looks like you're not going to go into sciences or any highly technical stuff anyway. 'Creative' degrees in uni are generally more flexible and easier to get in. So yeah, dont worry.
