I have been accepted into a Bachelor Of Engineering (Flexible FIrst year) and I have a few questions I would like answered:
1st: I actually wanted to get into Bachelor Of Engineering/Bachelor Of Science (Combined Degree) but I missed out by a measley 0.40 points...I have heard that one can attend an interview in which I could possibly be accepted into it considering I had done Physics and Extension 1 Maths in my HSC. Does anyone know if there is any truth in this, and if there is what are the requirements? Is it an interview or based on what you know or what has been studied?
2nd: With a double degree, what exactly happens? Does it mean that for instance if I did a double degree B Engineering / B Science, that I just study the core elements of an engineering and science course. Or Will I end up choosing a particular elective such as B Engineering( Mechatronic) and B Science (Chemistry). What I am asking is, with a double degree, do I still get to choose which strand of engineering and science I want to do...Or in a double degree is it just the basics of both degrees?
3rd. Where would I find out what subjects are involved in the Double degree...and which ones will be credited to (as in I dont have to do if I get enough credit points?)
