Should I do this course before taking Micro/Macro 2?

The course has very little to do with either micro or macro. It's basically a course on the multiple linear regression model. The only prerequisites are the two first-year quantitative courses (1202 and 1203).

I'd assume that you'd need to know regression well...

How about for math1151/1251 background? We didnt really do much stats.. should i wait till ive done actl2002 and then take econ2206 after?

highly doubt you'll need it. we don't need to do those maths at all if we want to have an econ major

Any1 got any past exams with solutions for ECON2206 or FINS1612?

i did 2206 last sem. The material is very straightforward, but i recommend u do it after 2002 then it'll be a breeze. There are a few past papers floating around and the questions don't change much (if at all). Although last sem's finals were alot harder then previous years due to our lecturer. I jotted down some of the ques from last sem's final for my friend, PM if interested.
