Yeah i have a lotta other things due that week as well. I've read some books, articles etc, trying to start writing but failing EPICLY.
And to answer your q from the other thread, our tutor told us 10-15 sources.

How are we all going, guys? I haven't actually started writing it yet, still in the process of reading and taking notes.

Our tutor suggested 10 sources, but people thought that was outrageous (?).

He lowered it to 7 (which is what I used for the last).

I have 6 books, will need to find some journals.

Also have not begun writing...

Personally, I wouldn't risk 7 sources. Your tutor may not be the one marking your essay as they most likely will share marking the essays. Which means, you could get MY tutor who expects atleast 10 sources.

I haven't started mine, I have another essay due tuesday which i am doing. I will cram Ecop in between tuesday and friday. I have nothing for that yet! Hopefully I can wing it like last time.

fingers crossed!

I've got journal articles which contain the words environment, sustainability and capitalism and did the same for library books. I don't know where I'm going either. :/

Karma Kitten: World Pol???

As for the essay, have kinda started writing it but its really just a jumble of words/thoughts at the moment....no real structure, would need much editing before being handed in. With regards to sources, I would use about 8 academic sources, plus a few non-academic ones to be on the safe side. It's not that hard, if you look through a few journal articles, check who they've referenced and then read that book/journal and incorporate ideas into your essay...boom you've got another source

True that, i ended up with 13.

However, it is all a bit much really. Lets say you have 300 words of introduction/conclusion, 200 of your own points/synthesis.

That leaves 1000 words for 10 sources. Even if you only take one idea of each source, that's around 4 sentences to spend on each idea. one of which will be linking.

Why the requirement of 10.

I have 1300 words of analysis, have 300 words left for policies and a conclusion :(.
