Our next topic for english yr 10 is going to be on shakespeare..can any1 tell me which story/play you do..also what would the assignment/assemnt be on...just curious..found out that its macbeth lol

Hmm, I did Macbeth, but the assignment I was given was a group film type project. not much help here I suppose.

We did Macbeth last year, think Henry V or The Merchant of Venice this year.

In year 10 i did Much ado about nothing and the assessment was just the usual essay

i did the tempest. and assessment was the tempest compared to forbidden planet [a movie based on the play] in an essay. the usual.

and had to design a book cover.. LOL.

we did macbeth too (is everybody doing this? ) and we got to choose between a storyboard, A3 collage project or my favourite a modern transofrmation where you had to modify macbeth to fit todays world (i did politicians all killing each other lol)

I did Macbeth, and we had an oral assessment for this.

Like memorising 14 lines and analyse the technique and theme...

Macbeth seems quite popular. We completed a booklet as we were reading it and recently did an assignment where we had to choose an activity from each level of Bloom's Taxonomy and each type of intelligence. We also watched Throne of Blood, and had to write a film review on it

i did romeo and juliet
and i think we had to write a speech about what makes a tragic hero. benvoilio was my favourite character. and then we got to watch both the movies so pretty much got to see two movies full of hot guys haha.
