Poland wasn't either.

Imagine... a 44 country Eurovision. That would be amazing.

one can hope for next year

Ah well, personally I thought Eurovision this year was better than last years. By a long margin. But not as good as 2010, or 2009, or 2008. The wtf voting and lack of variety (i.e. power ballad after power ballad) dampens it a bit.

but still... EUROVISION!!!!

gonna get the dvd

and cd

and watch it again and again and again

add to my collection

True, they need some happy, fun songs as well. As well as a few good novelty entries just to round everything out.

It escapes me why you didn't start collecting all of these either :p

whos having withdrawals :(
See, that's why I recorded the whole thing so I can watch it over and over...

And that's what I'll do until I get the CD and DVD and then... yeah.

But seriously, I'll get the DVD because SBS decided to cut out certain bits of the broadcast - like the second re-cap in both the second semi-final and the final <_<

Also some of the commentary on the official DVD version is good.

True.

After I watched the Final with School friends I was like: "And that's it for another year..." Sure, we were glued to the television for around three and a half hours but it flies by. Plus, we spent about an hour of that screaming "NEIGHBOUR VOTE!" or "WHY WOULD YOU VOTE FOR THAT COUNTRY?!?!?!?! UGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH..."

And my Hungarian friend who sat next to me uhh... she was just silent for most of it. Silent rage at Hungary's low placing, I suppose.

But yeah. They put lots of the stuff on Youtube actually, which is kinda surprising.

Because it's this thing we look forward to every year and it's done in three days...

It's not like WWE Wrestlemania where the weekly Raw and Smackdown continue the storylines and lessens the withdrawals or whatever. Or like the annual Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions where the weekday show complements the ToC to get the Jeopardy! Fix.

It's Eurovision - and then we wait another 52 weeks before it comes again...
