1) Find the point of intersection of the curves y=logex and y=log10x

2) Use Simpson's rule with 3 function values to find the area enclosed by the curve y=e^2x, the y axis and the line y=3 correct to 3 significant figures

3) Sketch y=log(x-x^2)

Please show working

Thanks in advance!!!

Should be a ln10.lnx - lnx = 0
lnx(ln10-1) = 0

lnx = 0 thus x = 1.

y=e^2x
x= (lny)/2

h=(b-a)/n
h=(3-0)/2 = 3/2

y 0 3/2 3
x (ln0)/2 ln(3/2)/2 (ln3)/2

(ln0)/2= error
