I don't mind them parroting on outside Fisher, it's easy to ignore them. What does shit me is when they come into lectures to give their spiel. Today my ed lecture started almost 10 minutes late 'cause some tool was going on about the Israelis slaughtering innocent Lebanese & Palestinians, in fact the same thing happened on Tuesday, and both days the lecturer has even pointed out that he's had to skip content 'cause the lecture was cut short.

no it's not annoying, if you read my post i said 'lolz has anyone seen them?' as in a question, i didn't say 'lolz they are so annoying.' You suck at sarcasm.

And you suck at understanding the logic of your own statements. You ask if anybody had seen the posters... supposing that the posters for the conference are in any way related to Socialist Alternative, Students Against War, etc. and what they're doing at the moment. As if coming "along" and learning about Islam is someting so funny?

It's like me saying... the protestors defeat the purpose of protesting, and it's annoying because the truth gets confused, and then unrelated "lolz has anyone seen the posters for the Finance Society BBQ lol?" because it might just have something to do with Israel?

Does it make sense yet?

I usually don't have a problem with these people because as long as you walk fast, and don't make eye contact with them, they won't bother you. But what really bothered me last week were the annoying evangelicals that came up to me and dragged me into their "Do you think of Jesus? Do you read the bible?" bullshit. JUST when I thought USYD was free of them, there are still a number of them hanging around the place eager to spread their beliefs and "convert" people through their tactics. They're doing their religion proud.. really... I even wonder if some are doing it out of necessity (do they obtain financial rewards? do they have quotas or something?) or is it really passion?

This is why I walk around with an iPod on everytime I'm on main campus. I can't hear them so they aren't there. Get an mp3 player and most of your troubles go away. Unfortunately I have to stop myself spitting at the 'Unfailing God' pass which I take to go to Manning from Redfern. Really want to do something about that.

Both 12pm lectures. Tuesday had a double-whammy of some guy from faculty asking us all to complete a survey after the girl shut up, she was only there for a couple of minutes. Thursday has little white sheila going on about the whole Israel thing and they even had a young woman from over there just standing down the front like some kid on a World Vision commercial. I think they target those lectures 'cause Dr Stevie is sympathetic to their cause.

I thought Arts = left propaganda and Commerce = right propaganda. Every humanities and social science course I've done has been rather left wing. I found that funny cause I did an argument from the right side and won and really annoyed alot of the leftists
