I am confused as to what flirting actually is.

Say for example a girl is messaging her bf (me) and another boy (some cunt) steals her phone and sends random texts to me. Would the boy be trying to flirt or is he just being a dick?

I have no problem with it, just interested.

imo everyone flirts whether they are in a relationship or not, it's just human nature

me too.
I get different interpretations from everyone I ask as to what flirting is.
Say, for example, is calling people 'hun' considered flirting? I always get different answers for that one.
