making new students feel wlecome.
add your stories!

i cany remember all of them but th eonly one i can remember is this.
Going to the toilet to do a number 2. [dont worry its nothing about this] and what do you do when youre in a public toilet??? you read the graffitti and stuff.
well i had the misfortune to read the most smartest post ever. sitting on the loo, i see this sentence written upside down on the bottom of the cubicle door. So as a curious first year who wants to see something more different than the usual high school drawing of penises and all that other immature crap, i decide to lean to make out what it says.
this is what it reads: "as you are reading this, you are taking a shit at a 45 degree angle". although its a play on the "if you have been reading this you have wasted 5 seconds of oyur life" i feel this is one of the most smartest ones ever. well, suffice to say laughed soo hard i didnt realise i finshed the job....

lol. The funniest thing i've seen, well it could actually be the most disturbing thing, was when there was one of those free bbqs. There was a jumping castle obstacles, and you raced a friend to see who would finish first. Anyway, this smart ass guy decided to do the whole obstacles naked. lol, it was really disturbing, I remember that that day, I actually turned up to class on time.

not as hectic as high school is/was.
people lounge around and stuff, talk nonsense. of course at some campuses it can be a ghost town sometimes, depending on the time you are off classess.

Parra campus is like the busiest cause of the location.

Last year hawkesbury campus was like a ghost town on wednesdays. But the guy who did the jumping castle thing naked, didn't get in trouble - cause theres no one like a school principal at uni. Your basically free to do anything. People have even turned up drunk to lectures.

Yes, you do whatever you want. Hence why uni is aften classed as an adult learning place. People treat you like adults. ;)

A lecturer can still request you to leave a lecture if you disturb them. Furthermore if there is serious misconduct, you can be criminally charged, dismissed or have the misconduct on your transcript (common with plagiarism).

I'm never going to be at bankstown... they do the same at parra/penrith?

There was this mob at Parra parading, they were so left, they made the Greens look like One Nation.

Just an informal term used to label those who support socialism and communism, particularly the Labor Party, the Greens and Socialist Alliance.
