My diagram was so prettyful.

And I did like 4 diagrams and labelled them like 1-4. I'm pretty sure you're allowed to do that, because it seemed a bit difficult to do it all in one diagram.

My restriction enzymes were pacman's though =]
it all seems so simple now lol. i knew that stuff! i think i just thought to much into the question and it went over my head. oh well

i did companion cell and sieve element =)
i was tossing up between companion and parenchyma cells.
I chose parenchyma, coz thats how i've learnt it, and thought the companion were the ones in the middle where the sieve elements are, surrounding them.

my teacher said parenchyma was right, but who knows.
i think they'll accept both parenchyma and companion cells.
they essentially are the same anyway.

Biology is just applied chemistry.

For 16 did we just talk about the parent flowers were heterozygous (dominant Red+recessive white)?

DAMMMNN the effing control in the agar experiment... you'd think i would've learnt by now....

Anyho, nothing substantial on T/B cells! So annoying!! I love that stuff

I also wrote companion cell & sieve tube element. Except the "companion cell" didnt have a nucleus so im a bit concerned that it was the "parechyma" people keep mentioning :s

Ummm i did genetics too and i wrote for the first hand experiment to breed the short wings and normal wings together (>100 times) according to mendel's 3:1 ratio heterozygote cross and if the double sized wings occured outside the 3:1 (i.e. it just wasn't a recessive trait) then it was more than likely a mutation. And then verify it with secondary sources. Dunno... crapped on about nothing for a while.... what do u reckon?

As for the rest, more or less basic. A couple of them i had to think twice about. Also, multiple choice qu5 about the polio vaccine none of them were right? I ended up writing c) even tho it talked about B-cells yet polio is a VIRUS and therefore are attacked by Killer T-cells not by antibodies! The one with Tc cells said that it attacked "all viruses that enter the body" so that was wrong. Confused me for a while i have to say. Anyone else?

No more bio!! :)

yeh i also did punnett squares and related to mendel and his ratios 3:1 red:white since red appeared more
