T=P, theta=phi (they were the angles right?) but from angle on circumference phi remains that constant while theta decreases as x increases (shown from its eqn) so theta is less than or equal to phi, and max when theta =phi
sqrt(h(a + h))??? i just did it and got the same answerI got 1 + square root of something
Yeah, that's it, looks familiar.sqrt(h(a + h))??? i just did it and got the same answer
niceee,Yeah, that's it, looks familiar.
I got so tired of writing all of it I ended up naming it "alpha"
agreed!! i didn't really struggle during the trials or any other paper this year but that was....sad...Yeah, I'm feeling pretty defeated. I tried so hard but I'll probably end up in the 50's. Bye bye E4
That's the answer I got too. But for 5(b)(iii) with the dh/dt i used
tan60 = o/h
o = h * sqr.rt(3)
Area of total triangle = 2 * (0.5 oh)
= oh
= h^2 * sqr.rt(3)
Volume = 10h^2 * sqr.rt(3)
---
I think that was the answer.
yeah I think soniceee,
with the first part of 7ci
i just showed that angle PSR = phi - theta and then said that since its an angle its >0 therefore phi>theta, is that valid?
lol,yeah I think so
I ended up writing an essay for that question
that was my answer aswell XD wasnt sure if we were suppposed to get a numerical value, got to this q with exactly 1 hr left =SThat's the answer I got too. But for 5(b)(iii) with the dh/dt i used
[1/(dv/dh)] * (dv/dt) and I only had -k left over.
Could anyone please explain it?
lol, I answered those with essays too :mad1:lol,
with that combinations q6, i had diagrams, colour codes, captions, the whole lot! only worth 1 mark spent about 5 mins, could have used it more wisely
nah i reckon 2006 paper was hardesthmm...wasn't expecting that...personally, i thought it was much, much harder than all previous papers...argh!!
Wasn't the answer 100 days?I got 200 days after integrating and subbing in values. I hope that's right. It's 1 mark, so I think there was a simpler way.
yeah I think so
I ended up writing an essay for that question
ROFL +1lol, I answered those with essays too :mad1:
