I saw it, thought it was some sort of scholarship application, and I realised what it was. I scrunched it up and it went into my basketball hoop/recycling bin.

What happens if I fail a subject? But I don't need it as a prerequisite for anything? Do I do it during summer school or next semester? What if I can't do it next semester because I have other subjects?

I was going to purposely spite the stupid Arts student canditates by voting for one with an Asian name, but there were two and I couldn't decide, so I threw it out.

If you fail and it's only an elective, then you can either repeat or just leave it and do another course. You can also do it through summer school if available. As for not being able to do it next semester, then just leave it for next year and move on.
