Economics and Accounting are on the higher range of failure rates. Due to this, UTS implemented E-Pal and PASS programs/extra tutorials to decrease this failure rate. These programs are free, and if there were a small number of students failing in these two subjects, UTS would not be wasting their money on programs like this. If you think they are so easy, try taking one of them as an elective and see if you can get 100 in them.

Oh Chris Bajada is still lecturing.. I thought he may have stayed at the associate dean/equivalent job that he took in the last 2 weeks of last semester. Be thankful you don't have Guy Ta.

Guy Ta ... hmm havent had him.. is he the asian one ... if so he scared the shit out of everyone in the mid semester exam. Everyone was doing the exams and had like 40 mins left.. and all of a sudden he made a sound. Everyone thought the exam was over, but he corrected himself saying "oo sorry, i scare you".

It was the so funny, everyone was laughing in the exam! O and apparently he loves the Kuring gai campus xD

So who can help me..

I can't connect to UTS wireless network for some reason. I got JRE installed but when I try to connect it downloads something and doesn't ever finish. It goes to like 30000 then it stops and stays there. =[

Yep. There was a 30minute period of the lecture that I would fall asleep.. but I would wake up after. Economics is very boring for someone who already did it in Year 12 though.

Guy Ta is asian. His lectures are very confusing and even more boring.

Cost Management Systems. It's an accounting subject which is apparently one of the harder ones in the major. Hope I do okay :/

man i had a chat with basim (the materials dude) and he told me all i need to do is get at least 45% to pass the subject lol :rofl:

45% as in overall mark or 45% for the whole exam?
haha isnt that good news for material students though
